St Albans City Footballers visit

On Friday we were lucky to have Laurence Levy, co-owner of St Albans City Football Club, James Gray, manager  and Ben Martin, player and club captain visiting the school and talk
to the children about leading health lives through good eating habits and being active.   The children all enjoyed listening and had the opportunity to ask questions.

Football match v London Colney

Last week the boys B team played a league game against London Colney.  The boys fought hard and had a few shots in an evenly matched game.  Unfortunately the size of the goals (they were very small) really prevented either team from scoring, so that the match ended 0-0.

Girls Football game v St Albans and St Stephens

The girls football team played a league game against St Albans and St Stephens.  Unlike other games they had to play on astro-turf, which took some getting used to as the ball moved much quicker. Although the girls played very well, the final score was 3-0 to SAS.
